Blue Ocean Resort

Not a bad deal. The check in people were not friendly more concerned with payment. Did not help if needing a taxi. The evening bartender was VERY nice and friendly. The pool is nice and has pool bar. We ordered room service and it was delivered quickly and was good. The food prices were comparable to others in the area. Very close to a nice market that has fresh food. The beach is a 10 minute walk Would not consider this hotel a resort. The spa was not there we walked the floor it was posted on and could not find it. The fitness was 3 treadmills in a hallway. The bathroom was very pretty, housekeeping did a really good job and the rooms and common areas were very clean. The location is a little noisy but not the hotels fault if you have room facing the street. All in all I would stay again for the price but would possibly spend alittle more for better amenities

The staff in this hotel are amazing!! So friendly!! They really created a great atmosphere. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are nicely presented and modern. Bed was comfy. The pool was fantastic!! Stayed at it most of the day. Just make sure to get down early and grab a chair. They give you towels. Only one small thing to fault would be the curtains in the room, they were very dusty and very old. Maybe in the future replace with one colour like a dark blue.

The hotel rooms are very spacious and nice. The view is not great and the staff speaks poor English. Very poor at the reception in my experience. Though they seem to think that they speak good English, so it’s very hard to comprehend what they’re saying. However, we had a pleasant stay. Pool is OK. The pool bar is never manned, though they claim it to be. The restaurant bar is just by the pool, so they deliver drinks from there. Breakfast is somewhat minimalistic and the selection of food is not to my satisfaction. They do make a mean club sandwich through the room service though! Also the room is equipped with a panel for hdmi, aux etc, but we asked about it at the reception, and they told us that it’s been unplugged. I don’t know why, so don’t expect to be able to plug your laptop to the tv with the fancy panel.

Amazing stay ! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They upgraded us from a standard room to a suite for free. Rooms are beautiful and very clean, beds are very comfortable. Bathroom was equipped with a bathtub so big plus. Swimming pool is big and had a poolside bar. I highly recommend you stay there as it was probably one of my best hotel experience ever.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room is much bigger than i had expected. And they had a rain shower! Nice touch even for a normal room! Amenities are standard gym and pool. They also have breakfast buffet but i never went. For the price and location I'm very satisfied.

Beautiful resort style accommodation in the bustling part of Patong. 5 minute walk to the beach. Amazing shower! The Pakistani bar tender was amazing (sorry I can't remember his name) super friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was superb.. Even getting us front row seats at the Mauy Thai!

The food is very tasty. Very large portions. It can be a bit noisy in the evening. Everything was very tasty. Thank you. In Thailand you have to eat fish!!

This was 1 of 4 hotels we stayed at a few years back. Heard it closed down but may be reopening. Hope so, so I'm posting my old review from trip advisor here and will return if it is. We stayed in pool access rooms 205 & 206 and must say this was the best of all hotels. Fantastic value for money and great location. Far enough from the noise and night life but close enough to walk to. Market and 7/11 2 mins walk for food and Bangla, Jungcylon 15 min walk. Rooms were much nicer than expected for the price and absolutely love the shower. Love the easy access to the pool and sitting on the balcony watching my kids play whilst having a drink. Buffet breakfast was basic but more than enough for what we needed. Tried cancelling other accommodation so we could come back here but unfortunately nothing available. Not sure about their other rooms but highly recommend pool access rooms.
